My Altars

The two Altars in my home. The left is an altar to Hel or Hela the Norse goddess of the dishonorable dead, or those who died outside of battle. And to the right is the altar to Loki, the Norse trickster god and Hel's father.

above them I've hung my Thor's Hammer, which is the universal sign of Heathenism, or Norse Paganism, as well as a strong protection charm. That particular Thor's Hammer is very important to me, my husband gave it to me for Yule, and it was used in our wedding.

Right now I'm also working on building two more altars, one to the All Father, Odin, and another to his son, Thor.
